I’m in my fourth year in the Clinical Psychology PhD program, and have been working on a comprehensive project in the Couples and Sexual Health Lab since summer 2013. The aim of my comprehensive project is to examine the frequency of postpartum sexual concerns in couples during the first year after childbirth, as well as the impact of postpartum sexual concerns on couples’ sexual and relationship satisfaction. I completed by Bachelor of Arts Honours degree at McGill University in 2010, and my doctoral research examines the relative contribution of nicotine and non-nicotine factors to the addictive potential of cigarettes and the effectiveness of nicotine replacement therapy in curbing cigarette craving and smoking behaviour.
