Callia Fieldhouse

– Research Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator –

I completed my Honours BA in Psychology at Dalhousie University and joined the Couples and Sexual Health Laboratory shortly after. I have experience in participant recruitment, screening, informed consent, and behavioural data collection.

Before joining the CaSH Lab, I volunteered in neonatal‑perinatal research department at the IWK Health Centre. This experience strengthened my interest in early parenthood and infant health research – interests that connect directly to my current work on the STORK study, which examines sexuality, wellbeing, and relationship dynamics during the transition to parenthood.

My research interests include clinical and health‑related research and science communication. Outside of research, I enjoy spending time in nature, journaling, and reading.
